Callao Salvaje (Savage Coast) is a coastal self-contained residential town and holiday resort that was once a small fishing village situated on the south west coast of Tenerife. Callao Salvaje is a great base for exploring Tenerife, it is a 20 minute drive from the Airport and only 10 minutes away from the lively resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos. There is a good bus service in operation and a Taxi rank for those clients who prefer not to drive. The beach has its own quality bar and restaurant and in the surrounding area has several bars and restaurants that propose an alternative to a day of sun on the beach.
